FilmBox becomes FILMBOX+ One as of 1 September 2026

FilmBox will continue in the Netherlands under the name FILMBOX+ One as of 1 September 2026. This concerns a name change and rebranding of the existing film channel; no new channel is being added. The change is part of the international rebranding of SPI International. The new name had already been introduced earlier in several countries.

For Dutch viewers, FILMBOX+ One will remain a broad film channel featuring, among other things, timeless classics, local films, thematic film series and films focused on relaxation. Internationally, SPI International is introducing several new channel names, including FILMBOX+ Love & Crime, FILMBOX+ Hits and FILMBOX+ Action. These additional channel changes do not apply to the Dutch FilmBox offering.

The streaming service FilmBox+ will also be renamed internationally to FILMBOX+ Stream and will receive a new domain: filmboxplus.stream.
